Dalcross Adventist Hospital (formerly Dalcross Private Hospital) is a 51 bed facility located in the beautiful, leafy Upper North Shore suburb of Killara. Caring for the community since 1912, the Hospital has developed an excellent reputation as one of Australia’s foremost niche private hospitals. In 1996, the hospital won the prestigious Australian Private Hospitals Association (APHA) award as a 'Centre of Excellence' in the under 100 bed category.
Dalcross Adventist Hospital was acquired in 2010 by Sydney Adventist Hospital Limited, based in Wahroonga NSW. Established in 1903, Sydney Adventist Hospital - fondly referred to as ‘The San’, is a large not-for-profit organization with a long standing reputation for excellence in healthcare built over many years of caring for the community. In 2006 the San was the proud national winner of the APHA award for Clinical Excellence for Hospitals over 70 beds. With this change in ownership, Dalcross maintains the expertise and cutting edge specialties that make it a premier private hospital, whilst being enhanced with the Christian mission and unique care that Sydney Adventist Hospital is renowned for.
